The Namibia Tourism Board (NTB), in partnership with the Diamond Board of Namibia, participated in the JCK Las Vegas Show 2026, held from 29 May to 1 June 2026 at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas, United States. Under the theme “Namibia: From DesertOrigins to Ethical Diamonds,” the event provided an important platform to position Namibia as a leading source of ethically mined natural diamonds while simultaneously promoting the country as a world-class tourism destination and attractive investment location. The international exhibition brought together global industry leaders, buyers, retailers, government representatives, and policymakers to discuss emerging trends shaping the future of the natural diamond industry.
As part of the Namibian delegation, NTB participated in high-level stakeholder engagements, networking sessions, and the Namibia Diamond Industry Cocktail Event, strengthening relationships with international partners and showcasing Namibia’s unique value proposition. The participation reinforced the strong link between Namibia’s tourism and diamond sectors by highlighting the country’s commitment to ethical sourcing, sustainability, beneficiation, and responsible governance. The engagement also created valuable opportunities to enhance Namibia’s international profile, attract investment, and promote the country’s diverse tourism offerings alongside its globally respected natural diamond industry.
