At the Zambia Travel Expo 2026, NTB led a vibrant team of five MSMEs alongside its core representatives, effectively positioning Namibia as the premier regional tourism destination for the SADC market. The NTB stand was a focal point for engagement with over 1,500 passionate regional stakeholders, including the Zambian Deputy President and other dignitaries.
Namibia’s compelling leisure and adventure packages sparked strong interest, especially for self-drive and safari experiences, reaffirming Zambia as a critical source market. For the second consecutive year, Namibia was honoured with the “Best International Stand” award, a testament to NTB’s excellence in destination marketing and regional influence.
This event reinforced the importance of sustained regional collaboration and innovative product development to capitalize on intra-Africa tourism dynamics.
